This 7-day Tanzania safari offers an incredible mix of wildlife adventure and cultural experiences, taking you through Tanzania’s most famous parks.

Start with Big Five game drives in Tarangire National Park, known for its massive elephant herds and baobab trees. Then, head to Lake Manyara, famous for its tree-climbing lions and birdlife. Itinerary

DAY 1: ARRIVAL IN ARUSHA – CITY EXPLORATION

Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, meet your guide and transfer to Arusha, the gateway to Tanzania’s safari circuit. If time allows, explore: Arusha Cultural Heritage Center – Discover Tanzania’s rich traditions Local markets & coffee plantations – Experience the region’s famous coffee Settle in for the night at your hotel before the safari begins.

DAY 2: TRANSFER TO TARANGIRE NATIONAL PARK – GAME DRIVE

After breakfast, drive 2 hours to Tarangire National Park, home to massive elephant herds, ancient baobab trees, and diverse wildlife. Enjoy a full-day game drive, where you’ll see: Elephants, lions, giraffes, zebras, and buffaloes Cheetahs and leopards hidden in the grasslands Over 550 bird species, including vultures and eagles In the evening, check into your budget lodge near Tarangire.

DAY 3: TRANSFER TO LAKE MANYARA NATIONAL PARK – GAME DRIVE

After breakfast, take a 2-hour drive to Lake Manyara National Park, known for its scenic landscapes and diverse wildlife. Enjoy a game drive, spotting: Tree-climbing lions resting in the branches Thousands of flamingos and other water birds Elephants, hippos, and baboons roaming the lake’s shores Later, relax at your lodge and enjoy stunning views of the Great Rift Valley.

DAY 4: TRANSFER TO SERENGETI NATIONAL PARK – AFTERNOON GAME DRIVE

After breakfast, embark on a 5-hour scenic drive through the Great Rift Valley and Ngorongoro Conservation Area to Serengeti National Park. Upon arrival, enjoy an afternoon game drive, where you’ll search for: Lions, leopards, cheetahs, and hyenas Wildebeest, zebras, and gazelles roaming the plains Crocodiles and hippos in the Serengeti rivers Check into your budget tented camp in Serengeti for the night.

DAY 5: FULL-DAY SAFARI IN SERENGETI NATIONAL PARK

Spend the entire day exploring Serengeti National Park, tracking the Big Five and the Great Migration (seasonal). Highlights of the day: Early morning game drive to see predators in action Picnic lunch in the wild, surrounded by the vast savannah Optional hot air balloon safari over Serengeti (extra cost) In the evening, return to your tented camp and enjoy dinner under the African sky.

DAY 6: SERENGETI – TRANSFER TO NGORONGORO CRATER GAME DRIVE

Wake up early for a morning game drive in Serengeti, then depart for Ngorongoro Conservation Area, a 4-hour scenic drive. Descend into the Ngorongoro Crater, a natural wonder teeming with wildlife, including: Lions, rhinos, hippos, and elephants Flamingos covering the soda lake Hyenas, jackals, and other scavengers Enjoy a picnic lunch inside the crater, maximizing your game-viewing experience. In the afternoon, drive to Lake Eyasi for an overnight cultural experience.

DAY 7: LAKE EYASI CULTURAL EXPERIENCE – RETURN TO ARUSHA & DEPARTURE

Wake up early for an authentic cultural experience with the Hadza and Datoga tribes, who have lived as hunter-gatherers for centuries. Join the Hadza on a traditional hunting trip using bows and arrows Learn survival skills and ancient traditions Meet the Datoga blacksmiths, known for their metalworking skills After this unique experience, return to Arusha (4-hour drive) for your departure flight, marking the end of your unforgettable Tanzania safari.
