2. BOOKING & PAYMENT TERMS

2.1 Booking Confirmation

• To confirm a safari booking, a deposit of [percentage]% of the total cost is required.
• The remaining balance must be paid in full [number] days before the safari departure date.
• Bookings made within [number] days of departure require full payment at the time of booking.

2.2 Payment Methods

2.3 Late Payments

• Failure to make full payment within the specified time may result in cancellation of your booking.

3. CANCELLATION & REFUND POLICY

3.1 Cancellation by Client

If you decide to cancel your safari booking, the following charges apply:

• Between [number] and [number] days before departure – [percentage]% refund.
• Less than [number] days before departure – No refund.

Refunds are subject to deductions for bank fees, administrative costs, and third-party expenses already incurred.

3.2 Cancellation by the Company

Kasongo Safari Uganda reserves the right to cancel a tour due to:

• Force Majeure events (e.g., political instability, pandemics, natural disasters).
• Failure to meet minimum group size (for group tours).
• Safety concerns or unforeseen operational difficulties.

In such cases, clients may:

1. Reschedule the tour for a later date.
2. Receive a full refund (excluding third-party non-refundable costs).

4. ITINERARY CHANGES & SAFARI CONDITIONS

• We strive to adhere to planned itineraries; however, changes may occur due to road conditions, weather, or wildlife movement.
• The company reserves the right to modify accommodations, routes, or activities in the interest of client safety and quality of experience.

5. CLIENT RESPONSIBILITIES

5.1 Health & Fitness

• Clients must ensure they are in good health before booking safaris, as some tours involve physical activities like trekking and hiking.
• Clients with pre-existing medical conditions must inform the company in advance.

5.2 Travel Insurance

• Clients are strongly advised to obtain comprehensive travel insurance covering medical expenses, trip cancellations, lost baggage, and evacuation.
• Kasongo Safari Uganda is not liable for medical expenses, accidents, or lost personal belongings during the tour.

5.3 Passports & Visas

• Clients are responsible for ensuring they have a valid passport and necessary entry visas for Uganda.
• The company is not responsible for denied entry due to visa or immigration issues.

5.4 Compliance with Laws & Wildlife Guidelines

• Clients must adhere to national park rules, wildlife guidelines, and guide instructions at all times.
• Feeding, touching, or disturbing wildlife is strictly prohibited.

6. LIABILITY & LIMITATION OF RESPONSIBILITY

• Kasongo Safari Uganda acts as a tour operator and agent for accommodations, transport, and activities.
• We are not responsible for losses, injuries, or damages caused by third-party service providers, wildlife encounters, weather, or Force Majeure events.
• Clients participate in all activities at their own risk.
• We reserve the right to deny service to clients engaging in reckless, dangerous, or illegal behavior.

7. USE OF WEBSITE & INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

• All website content (text, images, logos, itineraries) is the intellectual property of Kasongo Safari Uganda.
• Unauthorized reproduction, distribution, or modification of website content is strictly prohibited.
• Clients may not misuse the website for fraudulent bookings, spam, or illegal activities.

8. PRIVACY POLICY & DATA PROTECTION

• We collect personal data (name, contact details, payment info) solely for booking and communication purposes.
• We do not sell or share client data with third parties, except as required for tour bookings.

9. FORCE MAJEURE

The company is not liable for cancellations, delays, or changes due to circumstances beyond our control, including:

If a tour is affected by Force Majeure, we will offer the option to reschedule or receive a partial refund based on recoverable costs.

10. GOVERNING LAW & DISPUTE RESOLUTION

• These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of Uganda.
• Any disputes arising from these terms shall be settled through mediation or Ugandan courts.

11. CHANGES TO TERMS AND CONDITIONS
