Itinerary

DAY 1: ARRIVAL IN ARUSHA – TRANSFER TO TARANGIRE NATIONAL PARK

Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, your guide will pick you up and drive you to Tarangire National Park, a 2-hour drive from Arusha. Enjoy an afternoon game drive, where you’ll see large elephant herds, lions, giraffes, zebras, and baobab trees. Tarangire is also home to over 550 bird species, making it a paradise for birdwatchers.

DAY 2: TRANSFER TO SERENGETI NATIONAL PARK – AFTERNOON GAME DRIVE

After breakfast, depart for Serengeti National Park, a 5-hour drive, passing through the Great Rift Valley and Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Upon arrival, enjoy an afternoon game drive, searching for cheetahs, lions, leopards, elephants, and buffaloes in the endless Serengeti plains.

DAY 3: FULL-DAY SAFARI IN SERENGETI NATIONAL PARK

Spend the entire day exploring Serengeti National Park, tracking big cats, the Great Migration (seasonal), and large herds of herbivores. Enjoy a picnic lunch in the wilderness, maximizing your time in the park. Optional activities include: Hot air balloon safari at sunrise (additional cost) Guided nature walk with a park ranger

DAY 4: MORNING GAME DRIVE – TRANSFER TO NGORONGORO CONSERVATION AREA

Wake up early for a morning game drive in Serengeti, where predators are most active. Then, depart for Ngorongoro Conservation Area, a 4-hour scenic drive, stopping at Maasai villages along the way. Check into your budget lodge near the crater rim, enjoying breathtaking views of the Ngorongoro Crater.

DAY 5: NGORONGORO CRATER SAFARI – FLIGHT TO ZANZIBAR

Wake up early for a game drive inside Ngorongoro Crater, home to lions, elephants, rhinos, hippos, and flamingos. This volcanic caldera offers one of the best chances to see the Big Five in a single day. After a picnic lunch, transfer to Arusha Airport for your afternoon flight to Zanzibar. DAY 6: ZANZIBAR ISLAND TOUR & BEACH RELAXATION

Spend the day exploring Zanzibar’s cultural and historical sites, including: Stone Town – A UNESCO World Heritage Site with winding alleys, spice markets, and historical buildings Prison Island – Home to giant Aldabra tortoises Spice Farm Tour – Discover Zanzibar’s famous spices and traditional farming methods After your tour, relax on the pristine white sandy beaches.

DAY 7: OPTIONAL ACTIVITIES & BEACH LEISURE

Enjoy a full day of relaxation or adventure in Zanzibar. Optional activities include: Snorkeling or scuba diving in Mnemba Atoll Dhow sunset cruise Deep-sea fishing or dolphin tours Spend the rest of the day enjoying Zanzibar’s crystal-clear waters and white sandy beaches.

DAY 8: ZANZIBAR – FLIGHT TO NAIROBI OR DEPARTURE

After breakfast, transfer to Zanzibar International Airport for your departure flight, marking the end of your unforgettable Tanzania safari. If you have a connecting flight, you can fly back to Nairobi or Kilimanjaro for international departures.
