Itinerary

DAY 1: ARRIVAL IN NAIROBI – TRANSFER TO AMBOSELI NATIONAL PARK

Upon arrival at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, your guide will pick you up and drive you to Amboseli National Park, a 4-hour scenic drive south of Nairobi. Arrive in time for lunch at your lodge before heading out for an afternoon game drive, spotting elephants, lions, cheetahs, giraffes, and zebras with Mount Kilimanjaro as a backdrop.

DAY 2: FULL-DAY SAFARI IN AMBOSELI NATIONAL PARK

Spend the entire day on morning and afternoon game drives exploring Amboseli’s open plains, acacia woodlands, and swamps. Visit Observation Hill, which offers a panoramic view of the park and Kilimanjaro. In the afternoon, you can opt for an optional Maasai village tour, where you’ll learn about their traditional lifestyle and cultural practices.

DAY 3: TRANSFER TO LAKE NAIVASHA – BOAT SAFARI & CRESCENT ISLAND WALK

After breakfast, drive 5 hours to Lake Naivasha, a beautiful freshwater lake in the Great Rift Valley. Enjoy a boat safari, where you’ll see hippos, fish eagles, and other bird species. Then, take a guided nature walk on Crescent Island, where you can walk among zebras, giraffes, and wildebeests.

DAY 4: TRANSFER TO LAKE NAKURU NATIONAL PARK – GAME DRIVE

After breakfast, take a 2-hour drive to Lake Nakuru National Park, famous for its thousands of flamingos and rhino conservation efforts. Enjoy an afternoon game drive, where you’ll see white and black rhinos, tree-climbing lions, buffaloes, and giraffes along the shores of the alkaline lake.

DAY 5: TRANSFER TO MASAI MARA NATIONAL RESERVE – AFTERNOON GAME DRIVE

After breakfast, depart for Masai Mara National Reserve, a 5-hour drive through the scenic Great Rift Valley. Arrive at your budget tented camp in time for lunch before heading out on an afternoon game drive, searching for lions, elephants, leopards, buffaloes, and cheetahs.

DAY 6: FULL-DAY SAFARI IN MASAI MARA

Spend the entire day exploring Masai Mara, tracking the Big Five and other wildlife across the vast savannahs. If visiting between July and October, you may witness the Great Migration, where millions of wildebeest and zebras cross the Mara River, dodging hungry crocodiles and predators. Enjoy a picnic lunch in the bush, maximizing your game-viewing experience. Optional activities include: Hot air balloon safari at sunrise (additional cost) Visit to a Maasai village for a cultural experience (additional cost)

DAY 7: MORNING GAME DRIVE – TRANSFER BACK TO NAIROBI

Start with an early morning game drive, capturing the last wildlife moments in Masai Mara. After breakfast, drive back to Nairobi, a 5-hour journey, arriving in the afternoon for drop-off at the airport or your hotel, marking the end of your unforgettable Kenya safari.
