DAY 2: ZIWA – TRANSFER TO MURCHISON FALLS NATIONAL PARK

After breakfast, depart for Murchison Falls National Park, a 2-hour scenic drive through Uganda’s savannah and acacia woodlands. Upon arrival, check into your budget lodge or tented camp and have lunch before heading out for your first afternoon game drive in the park’s northern sector. Expect to see elephants, buffaloes, lions, leopards, giraffes, and a variety of antelopes. Return to your lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

DAY 3: GAME DRIVE & NILE RIVER BOAT SAFARI

Start your day with a sunrise game drive, the best time to spot predators like lions, leopards, and hyenas as they hunt in the early morning hours. Drive through the park’s diverse landscapes, encountering elephants, giraffes, warthogs, hartebeests, and Uganda kobs. After lunch, take a boat safari on the Nile River, where you’ll see hippos, crocodiles, and various bird species. The boat ride takes you to the base of Murchison Falls, one of Africa’s most powerful waterfalls, offering fantastic photo opportunities. Return to your lodge for dinner and an evening under the stars.

DAY 4: HIKE TO THE TOP OF MURCHISON FALLS – AFTERNOON GAME DRIVE

After breakfast, take a short hike to the top of Murchison Falls, where the mighty Nile River squeezes through a 7-meter-wide gorge, creating a thunderous cascade. Enjoy breathtaking views and photo opportunities before returning to your lodge for relaxation. In the afternoon, head out for another game drive, focusing on areas where leopards, lions, elephants, and buffalos are often seen.

DAY 5: MURCHISON FALLS – RETURN TO ENTEBBE

Enjoy a final morning game drive, searching for any wildlife you may have missed before having breakfast and checking out.
