DAY 1: ARRIVAL IN NAIROBI – TRANSFER TO AMBOSELI NATIONAL PARK

Upon arrival at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, your guide will pick you up and drive you to Amboseli National Park, a 4-hour drive south of Nairobi. Arrive in time for lunch at your lodge before heading out for your first game drive, spotting elephants, lions, cheetahs, giraffes, and zebras, all set against the stunning backdrop of Mount Kilimanjaro.

DAY 2: FULL-DAY SAFARI IN AMBOSELI NATIONAL PARK

Wake up early for a sunrise game drive, the best time to see predators in action. Visit Observation Hill, which offers panoramic views of Amboseli’s swamps, plains, and Kilimanjaro. Spend the afternoon on another game drive or opt for an optional Maasai cultural experience, where you’ll learn about their traditional way of life, dances, and warrior customs.

DAY 3: TRANSFER TO SAMBURU NATIONAL RESERVE

After breakfast, embark on a 6-hour drive to Samburu National Reserve, located in Northern Kenya. Arrive in time for lunch at your lodge, followed by an afternoon game drive. Samburu is home to unique wildlife, including the Special Five—Grevy’s zebra, Somali ostrich, Beisa oryx, reticulated giraffe, and gerenuk.

DAY 4: FULL-DAY SAFARI IN SAMBURU NATIONAL RESERVE

Spend the entire day on morning and afternoon game drives, exploring Samburu’s rugged landscapes and spotting elephants, leopards, cheetahs, and crocodiles along the Ewaso Nyiro River. In the afternoon, visit a Samburu village, where you’ll experience authentic tribal culture, music, and traditional beadwork.

DAY 5: TRANSFER TO LAKE NAKURU NATIONAL PARK

After breakfast, depart for Lake Nakuru National Park, a 5-hour drive through the Great Rift Valley. Arrive in time for lunch at your lodge, followed by an afternoon game drive. Lake Nakuru is famous for its thousands of flamingos, endangered rhinos, Rothschild’s giraffes, and tree-climbing lions.

DAY 6: TRANSFER TO MASAI MARA NATIONAL RESERVE

Enjoy a morning game drive in Lake Nakuru before heading to Masai Mara National Reserve, a 5-hour scenic drive through the Great Rift Valley. Upon arrival, check into your budget tented camp before heading out for an afternoon game drive, where you’ll spot lions, leopards, elephants, buffaloes, and cheetahs.

DAY 7: FULL-DAY SAFARI IN MASAI MARA

Spend the entire day exploring Masai Mara, tracking wildlife across its vast savannahs. If visiting between July and October, you may witness the Great Migration, where over two million wildebeest and zebras cross the Mara River while evading crocodiles and predators. Enjoy a picnic lunch in the heart of the Mara, maximizing your game-viewing experience. Optional activities include: Hot air balloon safari at sunrise (additional cost) Visit to a Maasai village to experience their traditional way of life (additional cost)
